RFI's Rapid Response Mobile Mapping unit is now online and ready to roll. Our area of focus is the northeast region, however we are deployable anywhere within the continental US if the need arises.Click here to download a pdf brochure. Project Samples:

  • Development of Rhode Island Wildfire Fuel Atlas
  • Development of a GIS database of Forest Stewardship Parcels and integration with MS Access database of parcels
  • Compilation and production of maps with GIS data layers in a format that is easily understood by the general public
  • Development and implementation of an easily queried, real-time, web-based, database-driven notification tool used by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management to notify statewide watershed organizations and the general public of permits and violations
  • Setup, configuration and maintenance of 25+ workstations and servers
  • Redesigned and database-enabled the University of Rhode Island Department of Natural Resources Sciences (NRS) web site located at http://www.nrs.uri.edu
