GIS and emergency management Rapid Fire Industries

Rapid Fire Industries: Web - GIS - Planning - Hazard Mitigation and more. "Map. Manage. Minimize Risk "

Web/Database

RFI can collect, store and manipulate your data as needed. If your data has a spatial component, we can take that data and turn it into a web-enabled GIS data layer. Adding a spatial component to existing data will allow you to view patterns and trends as the data are distributed over a landscape rather than tabular form.

An Example:
A restaurant chain is searching for locations where they should advertise their new senior citizen discount. Using GIS, they query datasets to find areas with a high population of person over 60 years of age. In addition, they want to find areas with a higher than average income with households of 2 or more people. Without GIS, this task would be quite tedious. With GIS, the areas of interest (orange) are a few mouse clicks away.
